Okay one problem you're definintely having here is the fact that your trying to remix, equalize, and remaster already mastered mixes, cause you've clipped together mixes from other teams.

Second to that, I use mixcraft and dont have this problem. Perhaps for some reason your Master Volume is set lower than 100 percent? Also, I can hear some problem with the quality on my laptop speakers (not even using headphones)... sounds like your mix is rapidly cutting in and out. Don't know the technical term for this. Never happens when I use mixcraft, but i think it's cause you're trying to mix down previously cut mixes, and if you're increasing the volume, its multiplying the volume beyond what these teams already had them at, which causes distortion. For example, your giant cut out of Sher's Bruin 08 mix. If you try to increase the volume on this beyond where they already had it, your multiplying it over what ever they had it at, causing distortion (and it does sound much messier than theirs). As for the mix being too loud, i can't really help. Try putting together your own cuts, and then see what happens.

... don't really know the problem then. Are you equalizing? or maybe not messing with the track volumes? alot of times tracks may be low themselves. I can't see this being a consistent problem tho. Quality on the tracks isnt bad, i just listened with headphones. but there is definintely distortion. Also, the volume seemed decent too.

I take it back... for example... Hoopeh is ridiculously distorted. To me it almost sounds likie the volume must be kept WAY too high rather than low. Send me one of your mixcraft files, dont have to send the songs, lemme just see the settings you have installed.

Ok buddy your problem is that your songs' volume is set too high and it's clipping. It's probably clipping because it's not working for you where ever your mixing and you turning up the volume and it sounds ok to you however to everyone else with normal speaker volume, it's too high. I haven't used mixcraft, however i am sure you have layers of songs and there are volume controls for each of them.

When you import a song play it and check your master equalizer Mixer and it will show you 2 green bars (stereo audio)...depending on how loud your volume is of the song layer it will go from green being good to red being clipped(distorted). Play each song and just make sure it's peak barely touches the orange mark. Do that for each song and then then mix them together. Once your done mixing, finalize the mix and then check for distortion, if you feel like its hitting the red mark, just turn down the mixer volume (It will control the master volume) to where it just touches the orange mark.

Also try connecting to a stereo monitor speakers or any good stereo system and testing your mix rather than just hearing to it on your computer.

Hope that helps.

Good luck

P.s-your mix hurt my ears

i think u fucked around wiht too many effects when makign the mix becuase the volume in the mix goes up and down up and down. i have the same effect on acid pro but forget the name of it. also try to lower the volume on the songs u put in. usually they shud be set at 0.0db. other than that the mix is good.
