well according to the one article posted, since they signed a sequel to the movie from 95 back in 06...the lawsuit is prolly to stop this movie from being produced altogether cuz whoever signed the sequel prolly has full rights to the mortal kombat title and characters. as much as i hope its made, its prolly not gonna be. not anytime soon at least (soon being 2-3 years)
