surprised no one has said moorni by punjabi mc yet. The first time I heard the "balle balle" in a performance, I thought it was really cool. But then every team started using it and that song got old real fast for me. I think it was the years 2011-2012.

interesting concept this. determining what song was the most overused. Now if the same song is being used in diff comps then yes deffo its rinsed. But if in the same comp teams are using the same song isnt that just coincidence as teams dont know each others' mixes before the comp day itself.. so no chance of copying?

this is only valid if it happens when a song is heard at a competition for the first time. for example, Notorious Jatt was only in AEG's bruin 2011 mix the first time it was ever used; before that, it wasn't even known in the circuit. competitions following that bruin in which the song was fantastically over-used were all to some extent, therefore, copyings of AEG's first usage.
