Must See for Soccer Fans!

[Navkarn]

i know a lot of us are pumped for the upcoming world cup in south africa, and watching these is just going to add that much more excitement. if you are familiar with 30 for 30 on ESPN, these feel like short 3-4 minute versions of it about players who have scored in world cup finals. they are done brilliantly, so check them out ... you will be so pumped after watching them. there's a time line along the top with players names, and each player has their own badass video of their goal scoring moment! enjoy!

dude materazzis vid almost made me shed a tear!!! haha

[Meistro]

Materazzis vid was really touching. I also liked Petit's. One line of his that really got me was "everyone is loving and caring for each other because of a futbol game. Can you imagine that?". Its crazy how international sports, especially soccer, unites all races.

Theres something about these players and the way they tell their stories. I mean, obviously someone else is making up the subtitles, but the way the story is told just adds to the actual event. These are great videos.

I agree big time Navkarn. Nothing better than watching the teams you support, starts your day the right way.

[dhamijatt]

no love for Brasil?

Its crazy how international sports, especially soccer, unites all races.

International soccer has seen unbelievable racism (from shouting ethnic slurs at rival teams, people of rival teams fighting in the stands, discriminatory rhetoric and inflammatory remarks from the fans). I really have not seen it unite.
