I don't really know how to feel about this performance haha. After watching it, I feel like there was more you could have done to make the set pop. Don't get me wrong out of the 4 or 5 BBC videos i've seen, this is the most entertaining set but for some reason I just feel underwhelmed.


Part of it has to do with the formations, which lacked creativity for me. You guys went into two lines at the front of stage 7 times (yes, i counted haha), did 4 circles, made 3 or 4 straight 12 man lines, and basically revolved the rest of your formations around 4 man boxes. It felt like someone was just like "shit I have to make formations? fuck it". Luckily it paid off for you guys and that's great, but maybe you wanna consider varying it up in future competitions.


In terms of energy, I think you guys were close to the highest out of the videos i've seen (after CMU, trying very hard not to be biased haha) so that's definitely refreshing. However, there were some people doggin' it in the back for the last minute or so and for a team of seasoned dancers like yourselves I didn't expect to see that.

The set itself was pretty enjoyable. I thought it had segments for every type of fan and dancer (cutesy kato segment with a throwback song, hard hitting and fast prop segments, your Tohar segment which was a little slower paced but had nice flow until the beat dropped) so that was really cool. However, you guys didn't do anything that made me think "wow these guys need to win" and I feel like with the level of talent you have, you could have definitely made a set that hit a little harder. I think what won you the comp was probably your jodi interactions and overall josh while dancing. Definitely looked like you guys were enjoying yourselves and that left a big impression on me.


Either way, congrats on first place and hopefully i get to see y'all live soon! Excited to see what you guys bring next

Solid! I spoke with your captain Bimpie at Bruin and man was he serious about making NSG a household name in the Bhangra scene. Miles ahead of your Warrior performance

Haven't been following much but whats the get-down with Bay Area guys teams? Is BK retired? AG active? I know their was competitive tension at one point but now this performance here was a BK, AG, NSG combo. Whatever it is man, keep it up. Definitely excited to see where you guys go next

Boys, you guys murked it! Such a clean and folk performance! Congratulations on the first place! Missed seeing performances where the dancing does the talking. Glad you guys brought just that. Every dancer was solid! Your gimmicks were kept to a minimum but they hit. Set was amazing! Keep it up boys, can't wait to see what you guys do at WBBC!
