i totally agree because if you look at virsa video on you tube it was posted on aug 6 on the same day as tdot so i cant imagine nachdi copying virsa

it is indeed really weird that nj had both the saap gimmick and the backwards mask dancing, i doubt its coincidence simply because those arent two obvious ideas, because they dont really stem out from other things that have been done. sometimes, teams come out with similar ideas coincidently because maybe a new gimmicky song/movie is released, or someone brought something at one comp, both teams stepped up that older teams idea, etc.

also, how unrealistic is it to assume that NJ simply had one of their friends or dancers attend bayside and see the gimmick for themselves in real life? and then that person told the mechanics of the gimmick (it's not particularly complicated) to the rest of the team?
"oh guys, this one thing virsa did was sick and we should totally do it!"

Well if you think about it they are ideas that have just been messed with. The mask thing has been done by a lot of teams so slapping it on backwards isn't that far fetched an idea. As for the saap thing, teams like fauj and others have been holding them open not from the handles in their last few performances including bayside so that could've also been an inspiration for a DIFFERENT take on that. Doing the exact same thing as a team that is not on the same level as them seems very unrealistic especially when they know the video of the performances would come out eventually....makes perfect sense to me lol

haha i will DEF say this though, if 99% of other teams "coincidently" had the same gimmick as another well known team, they would be accused of jacking shit immediately, whereas people are very quick to give jawani the benefit of the doubt. i am giving them the benefit of the doubt as well, but just sayin i could see this going the complete other way for other teams haha
