Hi guys. I recently bought a black sheesham dhol from Nagi in Patiala. When I play dhol, the bass has a very big amount of sustain and vibration after it. I wonder if anyone could help with the problem, ifbit is a problem. Also, I was thinking of getting a Remo Ebony Ambassador on it, and take off the MR skin that is on the tilli side at the moment. If anyone can help that would be great. Also if anyone can give advice on any other customisation to the dhol that would be great. Thanks

Is your problem that its high pitched or that its resonant? are you looking to have a dhol with a flat bass skin?
