What does your first round bracket look like?

I got:

EAST: Miami in 5, Indiana in 6, Chicago in 7, Raptors in 7 (GO RAPS ;D )

WEST: Spurs in 5, OKC in 6, Clippers in 7, Houston in 7

My approach to the playoffs:

- dont care about the east outside of Miami and Indiana. Honestly if they make it to the conference finals going to 7 in a series I'll be shocked, because they played the end of the season thinking it will be a top seeded showdown.

- The west is awesome. Saw the golden state/clippers game and I think its a prelude for long series and difficult competition for top seeds.

- I don't think San Antonio makes it out. They are extremely well coached to the point where I think they are maximizing talent in a specific system, but they don't have the upper echelon game breaking talent.

- I think golden state steals the clippers series (started with game one) on the back of incredible perimeter play and showcasing the talents of klay Thompson(who reminds me of pippen in terms of his working in the background, d, and innate ability to get buckets). I also think their advancement is going to be solely contingent on what minutes they get at the five from a patchwork group of centers.

- everyone is picking the rockets to be a sleeper to the point where I can't call them that. Really curious to see how harden plays in the playoffs with that burden on his back and being the man for a title contender.

- Lol the depth of experience on the clippers is ridiculous. They bring big baby, granger, Crawford, Collison, turkoglu ofd the bench.

- everyone should watch thunder games to watch our Lord and saviour Kevin Durant(mvp) as he preaches the art of scoring efficiently. Plus a healthy team in the playoffs - yay.


Really fun first round out west. Anyone realize the 9 seed in the west would be the five in the east?

As of right now I don't think anyone stands a chance from defeating the Heat. The west's best bet might be Dallas or San Antonio.

either Clippers or Blazers are coming out of the West . OKC is getting punked by the Grizzlies. Miami and Lebron have a easy road to the Finals (again). My predictions are Miami vs Clippers or Miami vs Blazers.
Spurs just arent ticking right now but you can never count them out. Most interesting playoffs I have ever seen.

I would have said the clippers from the west but i reall don't see them beating the spurs. I just dont think they match up or outplay the spurs even though they are old. On the east though; how bout them wizards lol.

I think it would be nice to see Memphis vs the Clippers in the western conference finals

and all I hope is that Brooklyn beats Miami, even though Miami will probably win in 5 games.

Portland will beat Spurs- Spurs can't keep up with a young tandem in Aldridge and Lillard, it would be like playing Memphis a year or two ago when Grizzlies just flat out dominated with Conley and Gasol/ Randolph in the post


Agreed with everything else, really want Brooklyn to take Heat to 7 games even though the Nets will probably lose.

How great would it be though if Washington beats the Pacers and then goes on to play the Heat in the eastern conference finals? I think that would be kind of exciting. As for anyone on the west; I just don't see them being able to beat the Heat(most likely going to the finals).
