I agree with you Gurvir. I live in Vancouver and I used to watch the Grizzlies then they took them away and I started going to some Sonic games and obviously they had to be taken too. Fuck Clay Bennet and Jackson.

Fuck LeBron James and his receding hair line even if he wins this year I still got no respect for him he got there with D-Wades help whose done this before LeChoke came in the NBA acting like hes gonna be the next fuckin messiah picking 23 as his number doing his dumbass ritual before games trynna be like Mike but all that shit flopped didn't it he stopped all that BS cause he realized he will never be as great as he thought he would I criticize him more than any other player cause that's what he was asking for he set the expectations too high and he never delivered. He wins this year well bravo only took about a decade to happen oh yeah he's gonna be really legendary lol except legends knew how to close games and not choke the final last seconds. If he still wants to be like Mike he better go back to back the rest of his career cause it took Mike half the time to get a ring I don't know why he has these "loyal" fans and how hes MVP is just ridiculous. Throw the ball to Lebron in 4th qtr and all of a sudden all he knows to do is pass that ain't a MVP that's a weak little girl he needs to give that award to Durant who really does deserve it.

Lol SMP. If Lebron needed D wades help what about Kobe. Dude didn't get a ring without Shaq and when he left his teams constantly got bounced out of the first round. Then he went on his little temper tantrum demanding trades and throwing players under the bus most notably Bynum. Then the Lakers get Gasol in one of the most lopsided trades in history and win a championship. Lebron may have needed D wade but my point here is that Kobe didn't do it on his own he needed Gasol, Bynum and Shaq to get his rings. Also on your clutch statement KObe shot 6-24 in game 7 in the NBA finals. I am pretty sure he needed all he could get from Bynum and Gasol. JUst stop baisting yourself with all this hate towards Lebron.

It's funny when you read the post of so many NBA noobs in this thread. How is this NBA finals lame? Are you even a fan of the NBA? Or are you just a supporter of 1-2 teams and don't have any appreciation for the game?

Please go back and do your homework before posting stupid opinions - how many NBA teams do you know that made it to the NBA Finals within the first few years of being established? Come on nubs, tell me. If you don't think that's f*ckin amazing in itself, you don't appreciate the game.

I'm not even a huge OKC fan (still a die hard Bulls fan), but I'm pretty amazed at how well they play together AS A TEAM. The "big 3" somehow got around to being on the same team together (which imho should have never happened - as David Stern rejected more recent trades that weren't as biased). Their sole purpose of being put together was to win multiple championships for the Heat - not just appearing in the NBA Finals, which is what they've been doing for the last 2 years.

That being said.. being a fan of the sport - I would love to see this go down to a game 7. That would an epic ending to a rushed/compressed season.

I'm glad to know that James Harden got 6th man of the year (well deserved) and I wish Durant had gotten MVP. We'll see if Lebron (who CAN be a BEAST of a player) will carry the Heat to victory pretty soon - he's gonna need to step up BIG time in the 4th - on both ends of the court.

~ Basim :)

P.S. - Please remember guys at the end of the day, the NBA is all about business! It's part of the entertainment industry and if they don't create some type of "hype," don't sell tickets, and don't get lots of viewers on TV (which brings in many sponsors) - it's gonna be dam tough to continue operating. David Stern clearly knows this and uses it to his advantage.

all you LeBron fans run to your "oh Kobe had Shaq" well didn't LeBron have Shaq too? Oh but that doesn't matter right that's irrelevant cause uh Shaq wasn't uh Shaq when he was with Cleveland right ::) Just stop with the excuses your guy might get a ring this year don't ruin it it's finally your chance to be happy and I'm glad for you I really am you guys have waited a long time for this but I don't know why your mentioning Kobe dude like really you wanna do game 7 stats between the two cmon its one thing he did 6-24 but they still won lol whats your point I can show you dozens of games where LeBron choked during big games. if he doesn't make it this year at least he'll still get his 3rd 2nd place trophy he can place it next to all his other side trophy's that don't mean shit. You got Bosh, Wade, and KING JAMES lol make it happen already and stop with the bs excuses

Lol at your logic. You call me a dick rider because I defend Lebron when you are doing the exact same thing for Kobe. I am Cavs fan my favourite player is Kyrie and also I would love to see those multiple game where Lebron choked. I watched my Cavs closely and he never choked. The only time he choked was in last years finals and that was it.

Gah the finals are the finals, but these finals aren't as good as 2008-2011 though. Too much offensive game/jump shooting. I'd prefer a game in
The low 80's/high 70's over these 100 point games.

I would throw the 2007 finals also. 22-7-7 on 35% shooting and 6 turnovers.

Love you gotta admit the defensive mentality of the Spurs in the 2007 finals was anyone but Lebron has to beat us. He obviously could have played better but that series was never in doubt. THe east was the weakest conference ever and anyone that watched basketball knew the team out of the west was gonna win that year.

True bro, but it was still a bit disappointing. Especially after seeing him absolutely wreck detroit in that series(game 5 was beast)

durant was sick in the 4th quarter in game 1, OKC def gonna win it all this year, but next year the lakers willl be back on top
Wrong and Wrong.
right and wrong. okc is gonna win this one in 7. lebron is gonna choke like usual when it actually matters (haters gonna hate). and lakers are gone as long as the spurs and thunder play like they have been in the past month.

I'm not sure how anyone can justify thinking that the OKC is actually going to win this series. For the majority of the three games, the Heat has held the lead, and their players are simply more talented and experienced. 2012 is Miami's year.

i think these 2012 finals are incredible. each game could've gone either way. there were plenty of lead changes in game 1 and game 3. game 2 had an incredible comeback by the thunder which they almost pulled off if durant had made the last shot or had got a foul called. this young thunder team is playing like veterans.
i'm not a fan of the heat. but i am a fan of a competitive game and this series is as competitive as any i've seen. with shane battier stepping up, the heat have been doing much better of having their aggressive defense convert to offense. apart from the indiana series where wade averaged just .7 more points per game than lebron, lebron has basically carried this team to the finals and has shouldered the responsibility of doing everything down the stretch more than he has ever done in his career. wade has had his moments but been inconsistent. lebron is having an incredible playoffs overall and will probably go down as having one of the best overall playoff performances ever this year. if you think he sucks without wade, you clearly have not been watching. and the heat overall has proved they deserve to be here. a true champion can play from behind and summon the mental and physical strength to overcome like they did down against the pacers and celtics.
can't wait for tonights game 4. i hope this series goes to 7 games.

and to add in, someone said lebron needs "10" years to get a championship. he went to the finals in his 4th season in the nba with basically no other star on his team. michael jordan took 6 seasons to make it to the finals, but he obviously won every finals he's been in. i usually hate defending lebron but some people's opinions are absurd. love him or hate him, he deserves to win championships(yes more than one) whether it be this year or in the years to come. lebron also, like jordan took his team to the playoffs every year after he was drafted except his rookie season and did not just throw the season so they could load up on high draft picks.
but either way, i hope durant goes down as the greatest scorer ever. the learning curve that he's exhibited since entering the league is insane. but the thunder would not be here without being able to draft westbrook and harden and ibaka, along with the great personnel decisions by the front office.
