being a super suns fan, i'm pissed about dragic going to houston! also whats with gerald wallace to the blazers for joel przybilla?! seriously it makes no sense and the bobcats join utah, toronto, and cleveland now on the fading/dying nba teams list after losing their franchise star.

discuss any other odd trades if you want, this season has been ridiculous.

As a staunch Boston fan, I'm waiting on some reasoning from upper management regarding the ridiculous Perkins trade. Green is def an asset long term but cmon!

That Boston/OKC trade was a big shocker. Agree with Kartik, not sure exactly why that move was made...the Celtics were set up to make a great run at the title this year and I think they have a better chance with Perkins/Nate Robinson than Green/Kristic. From OKC's perspective, I think they made a great move. They've needed that big rugged center and pairing Perkins and Ibaka creates a pretty solid defensive front. Green is kind of stuck between a SF and PF in my opinion. Chris Bosh must be happy as hell right now...he doesn't have to worry about both Perkins and KG come playoff time. It will be interesting to see how this move plays out for Boston. Rumors are already circulating that Rasheed Wallace might rejoin the Celtics now.

OKC has always been a threat but now that they got theres bigs...Ibaka, Perkins and Nazr Mohammed and you can even consider Nick Collision as a big, there looking real nice. Now there a complete team cause the main thing they were missing was rebounds and we all know that teams who go far in the playoffs get rebounds and block shots in the paint. Durants gonna get you 27+ every night and westbrook is gonna play the way hes been playing all season, aslong as everyone on that roster plays there role there going to be hard to beat... and in the future! and they got Nate Robinson, when hes on its kinda hard to stop him too so the west is looking real nice.

WOW so much just happened!
OKC, holy crap. I don't want to face them anymore.
Clippers, wtf? Gave away a lottery pick. I don't care if its a weak draft, why would you give an unprotected pick away? Atleast protect it against lottery.
Portland, wow, not bad considering draft picks won't be high. Sucks that Gerald Wallace was the last remaining original Bobcat(I think).
Rockets, whatsup with them and freakishly long centers? Yao/Thabeet
Rockets/Suns-Eh I actually like brooks in Phoenix

Memphis/Indiana/New Orleans-Upset this trade didn't happen. I love OJ Mayo, and Indiana would have been great for him to establish and redeem himself as a leader of the team behind Granger. Especially with Dunleavy injured, Rush potentially being traded, and Paul George still being a rookie. :(

Posted this in the Melo thread since i didn't see this

The Williams trade made the most sense, I have to give respect to them for getting it done and over with before it turned into another Melo situation dragged out for way too long.

What about the Bulls? Huge missed opportunity - they're trying to make a serious playoff run here and end up trading away James Johnson with no immediate benefit.

OKC wins. They're a serious threat after grabbing Baby. Last night's game proved Boston's serious weaknesses without Perkins.

Bibby is still a great 3 pt shooter but can't do much of anything else. He is a major defensive liability against other PGs.

Nets = screwed by post-season...highly doubt they'll be able to make such great changes to keep williams interested in them.
