New Dhol

I wannna get a really good dhol, does anybody where i can get the best dhol from?

India, hands down...the best type of wood is Kaali Talli, but some people don't like the look of it (it's really dark brown).

well you are with dhol nation academy so ask raju johal or rayman where they get theres from or you go to india and go to jalandhar or ludhiana(jalandher is easier to get a dhol) type into youtube ustaad dhol and look for the vid that says ustad student of bal kishan jogi and the guys number is right there he makes some bad ass sounding chitti, kachi pakki, and kaali taali dhols and i mean bad ass

in my opinion, I think that Kaali Taali(Pakki Taali, Dark Brown Sheesham, Innerwood Sheesham, or Heartwood Sheesham) is probably the best to me because it's more durable and it's the more aged part of the tree and thus denser. I love these richness and sharpness sound of dhol
i understand that some people don't like dark brown, i'm thinking that some people prefered to Chitti Taali(Kachi Taali, White Sheesham, Outerwood Sheesham, or Sapwood Sheesham) or Chitti Kaali Taali(Kachi Pakki Taali or Mixtured Sheesham), i'm not so sure
