I live in Boston and am well aware that their aren't any Punjabi bands or Artist's here locally in New England. How ever if you head south to New York or even New Jersey, you have a few artists who are from there. For instance Baljit Malwa , G Deep, Bikram Singh, Laddi Bath, Simk Jaswant, they are very well known and do perform very well live. Laddi Bath performed at this years Big Apple Bhangra and did a great job. Since Rhode Island is only about Two half hours or even three hours from New York, their shouldn't be reason why they cant perform because of the distance.
