i think we all had that "i did it all for the nookie" phase in middle school, but listening to this now is just major facepalm. this sounds pretty garbage to me, he hasnt changed his style one bit and lacks any unique elements which set him apart. i know we post some pretty random stuff here in off topic ... but i really think this is the wrong crowd. should try some type of trailer park trash rock forums in my opinion.

i duno bout trailer park trash rock forum nav lol thats silly. and if he hasnt changed his style one bit, and u liked his original style, why hate on it now? and wes borlands back for this album. im excited.

i think they sound just like Limp always has, kinda funky, but hard all the same. if u wana discuss bands that dont have it anymore, linkin park is NOTHING like they used to be...and ive been a fan since back in middleschool when chester wasnt even around.

but i think u jsut have to really like metal, i grewup on korn, rammstein, metallica, limp, slipknot, orgy, superXero aka the hybrid theory aka the eventual linkin park, NIN, etc. i always like to see the old bands come back. i rather enjoyed this track, but ima drummer so its diff for me i guess than u or others probably.

good find. ill def hav to check the album out. lil wayne is supposed to make an appearance on it i hear, that shud be interesting.
haha its all good man... and i def agree LP's style has changed, first two albums were legit (heavy) and after that they went downhill with this pop-emo shit.... LB's style will always be the same and Fred even said in an interview this album will be the heaviest and their most complete album... they kept delaying it too to work on some extra tracks... the guest line up don't even get me started just too sick... Weezy, The Game, Paul Wall, Raekwon, Mathematics ahh can't wait lol

"linkin park - hybrid theory" is the best nu-metal cd of all time, reanimation put a cool twist on their music, meteora was decent, couldn't make myself care about anything after that. i'd have to say the most dramatic transition to suckiness has to be papa roach, their first cd "infest" was amazing after that it was just a sharp decline into shittiness. for korn the cd "untouchables" was the transition to lame music. i wish rage against the machine was making new music :(

edit: just read that rage is working on a new cd :)

only decent korn albums were the first three, life is peachy is the heaviest by far.... infest is the only papa roach album that is the best... limp bizkit= first 3 albums with my favorite being three dollar bill y'all... they went to shit after results may vary but hopefully Gold Cobra will bring nu metal back!!
