New Mix Feedback Please

What type feedback are you looking for buddy? Usually get more responses if you ask for certain info or parts that you want people to comment on
So the beatmapping is obviously fine. Most of the pitches match well too so good work there.
There's lots of interesting remixing going on but it's very spread out and doesn't hit hard as a mix because the transitions don't always carry the pace. If you wanted to put out a smooth mix then this definitely fills that goal (like I would put this in a playlist and do work to it and just enjoy it, not as much sit here and go nuts over it which is probably why people aren't really posting that much).
Just watch the overruse of instrumentals. The drummer boy laser thing at one point seemed unnecesary and theres a hoi+gunshot section that just sounded amateurish. Also I find the flanger a very 'cheap' or 'weak' effect...when used right it is awesome, but just throwing it on doesn't make stuff sound hype to me
Definitely a nice mix with some fun things going on, I just feel like it doesn't have a vision. It's like you just lined up some stuff and VirtualDJd a mix. That's completely fine and it sounds good, but that next level is kind of doing something more than just layering stuff. Create something that is more than the sum of it's parts!

/b/rotip: Mixing is more than just technical knowledge. You can know HOW to do stuff within your program but what makes you stand out from the rest of the crowd is the IDEAS that are in your mix and how you use them to create a FEELING in the listener. The ear is one of the most powerful tools a DJ has and acutely training it can be most beneficial.
Ok, lets get started.
In putt Jattan de, when there's a breakdown, your instrumental keeps going, which is supposed to (in a traditional sense) be meant for a buildup and then when the beat picks up again, crescendo. But yours rather just smoothed over the whole segment and lost dynamic.
I liked your intro to the second song, starting our with a tabla and overall it makes me smile to listen to it lol. The dopler woosh came in about a quarter beat too soon IMO and the arab money chant was a TAD off pitch (but nothing to worry about too much). I agree with the flanger comment that Swi made (or may have been a phaser, I'm not familiar with sony acid that much) although I wouldn't say it took away from the mix, it's that you gotta find the right place to put those kinds of things.
I quite like the next segment and thought it was subtle enough to make it sound like an original production but then the gunshots hit and came to mind the infamous youtube dj's who just put gunshots in "Rambo Rambo" and called it "their mix". Lol not comparing you to those guys because this mix actually flows and sounds good to the ear.
I really like how clean the baljit malwa song was but again, the instrumental was SLIGHTLY off pitch.
The papa Americano bit was really questionable for me. One part of me liked it a lot and the other side thought it was weird to listen to the words "papa americano" so slowed down after so many times hearing it faster you know? But from a mix standpoint, I thought it was really creative. Props.
Overall, I agree with Swi in saying that its not something you listen to for listening purposes, but rather throw it on the playlist for just casual listening like when you're browsing the internet or whatev. It doesn't go offbeat anywhere which makes it pleasurable to listen to as well as not being raped by 30 soundeffects per measure so overall, good job.

Yaa it's opposite for me because after listening to it slow a lot of times while I was making the mix now the original sounds weird to me lol
