Hi Jusi. So I think you may have noticed my comment on Epic's facebook status when he mentioned this article of yours, but I'll give you some feedback here. Overall, I enjoyed the read and your perspective on the NA bhangra music scene as a newcomer/outsider (being from the U.K.).

While you mentioned some emerging producers (btw you forgot my boy Slambassador! lol. I'm a fan of his production) and you mentioned some emerging artists, but I actually wished you would have mentioned well established artist that rose out of North America and already made a decent name for themselves. Probably one of the biggest is Bikram Singh who actually started off singing for bhangra teams in New York (back when I getting into the dancing scene, I faintly remember hearing about him singing for NYIT bhangra) and rose to "fame" that way. He's now a practicing attorney in NY but also pursues his passion of singing on the side. Other than North America, he's toured all over the world including many parts of Europe (people in the UK should know about him).

Anyway, keep us updated on your posts (especially those related to bhangra, since this is BTF, lol).

Hi Basim, Thank you for the kind words!

Looking back, yes I missed out Bikram considering he is arguably one of the best singers to come out of North America and branch out to different countries. I'm glad to see him do very well! I guess when writing my NA Bhangra scene article, I was trying to use Epic Bhangra as the main example and use Mickey/Amar has an example considering they are both affiliated with each other.

Either way, I'm glad to see some nice comments and some helpful ones too - so I thank you for that.
As I mentioned in my previous post, my newest article (http://notoriousmusicking.tumblr.com/post/83751751763/5-things-i-hate-about-bhangra ) was featured on Chakdey.com - let me know what you think of this one!
Thanks once again!
Jusi
