what are some good phones that i could get bc im thinking of upgrading my phone? .... my carrier is at&t, but the phone could be unlocked.

Have someone get you a N97 from india. Its like 3-400 bones american, unlocked, and no contract.
But if you got some time like 2 months...Iphone 4G

it really depends on what youre going to do with your phone..
if you want to surf the web and can swallow a 30$ data plan every month then its going to be between blackberry and iphone.
blackberries primary user:
-heavy e-mailer
-usually some kind of business oriented person because it keeps appointments organized, very good calender and alerts apps, PUSH e-mail (email instant to your phone versus u having to wait 15+ minutes to receive)
-someone who needs a REAL keybaord
iphone primary user:
-sends and receives emails but since they arent pushed to the phone these emails cannot be urgent ones because the user would have to wait at least 15 mintes to receive them based on the settings that the user chooses
-APPLICATIONS...yes, blackberry has them...yes, android has them...but nobody has mastered it like the iphone
-Touch Screen keyboard allows for faster texting for some. depends on what u get used to
-User that surfs the web a lot
-Music/Videos/Media better than any other phone
-Phone is VERY user friendly
basically it all depends on you. i personally have had every blackberry out, and every iphone out and i personally love iphone. the simplicity of the OS, the flowing between everything and the chemistry that the OS offers between each native and 3rd party application is amazing. i personally am comfortable with using a touch screeen keybaord and actually prefer it to the blackberries keyboard because ive gotten so used to it that i can type faster on it. that little time that you save between having to push a button down and having to simply tap the screen adds up. the phone always keeps me entertained. the browser is much better than the blackberry's browser, the games are overall cheaper and bigger selection...and mcuh more
if u wanted an iphone i would wait because second week of June is the WWDC (apples conference in which they announce every new iphone. the trend has beenthat the iphone is launched 3 weeks after this conference, every year. hope for an end of June iPhone 4G release (chances of it are nearly 100%)
If you want to a blackberry then you definitely cant go wrong with the blackberry 9700. amazing phone. i had it, definitely love the touchpad, great phone.
If you want a basic phone then just stop into any AT&T store and choose your liking. Theres such a huge selection

im selling a WHITE N97 fo 330 dollars with the box n everything...its 32gb storage 5mp camera.. has a app store (very bad)n its has a keyboard n itz touch screen.. if ur a music or lik to take vidoes n photos this phone is good n the battery life is excellent

Can't go wrong with the iphone, there's all these wannabe iphone killers, but nothing can touch it. Like somebody said, if you wait till end of June, you can get the 4G!
