No repeat for the pens this year. They were so inconsistent this season, I'm not surprised it ended like this. Pens caught a cold streak while the Habs are on FIRE. I'll be rootin for them all the way. Hats off to Halak, Gil, and Georges for absolutely shutting down the pens, and the Habs offense for making the pens pay EVERY TIME they got the chance.

Predictions:

Habs over Bruins/flyers,

Sharks over Hawks.

philly is in a pretty bad position after boucher went out. Boy did it it look painful the way he fell. Anyhow, Boston shoulda closed out this series two games ago. Theres no way Philly is gonna come back and win two games, theres just no way. Raask is gonna get back on his game, chara is gonna mar the shutdown mode and savard, lucic, bergeron, etc are gonna put some pucks in the net.

I would've thought that they were out of it in Game 6 with leighton in goal..until I saw Leighton in goal. didnt let in a goal for game 5 during the combined shutout..and the goal in game 6 was at the very last minute. he made some good saves and kept philly in the game for a game and half. home crowd will definitely give boston some help (although it didn't game 5, with a 4-0 shutout...) but i don't think its fair to count philly completelyyy out. they've made it this far..

amazing comeback from a 3-0 deficit... you don't see that everyday in sports, my hats off go the Flyers... they were down 3-0 in this game and never quit... but i think their run ends in the conf finals

predictions

habs over flyers in seven

did anyone notice that the exact opposite has happened in either conference seeding wise? in EVERY round too. 1 2 3 and 5 won in west, 4 6 7 8 won in east in first round, then 1 2 won in west and 7 8 (3 4 if you re-seed the teams) won in the east. kinda interesting.
