Yes, judges can be seated anywhere, but the point is that the judge should be able to see the entire stage and the entire performance. If the judge can only see half the stage, then he/she are incapable of being able to fully judge the entire team and the entire performance. This video is a close-up view of only 1/2 of the stage.smehta said:I don't get why everybody says this view "doesn't work for them"? I really hate when people say that about any video. Judges can be sitting anywhere, and in any case, people are sitting everywhere during these performances. All aspects of the dance have to be covered to make sure that any view of the dance creates a positive image. Saying that the view "doesn't do justice" doesn't mean sh*t in my book. That just means people are making excuses for what they thought they saw, or believed. I'm not talking about this video specifically, but there are many times when people say this kind of stuff.
