the idea for the lights was created long ago but to implement it was hard work and we just got it done in time for UBC. they are lights on shikeh not easy to do and you talk too much shit for a kid...

at the end of the day , tag started the trend , you might have used the lights in a different way , but either way , your stealing tag's swag is what he's getting at i guess
congrats on the well deserved placing though and it was executed very well !

the idea for the lights was created long ago but to implement it was hard work and we just got it done in time for UBC. they are lights on shikeh not easy to do and you talk too much shit for a kid...

the concept of using lights during a blackout did not come from tag... props to them for doing it, props to sgpd, props to nypd, props to nj, props to vcu (glow in the dark, but same concept), and props to other teams that have done it. i can't even tell you how many times shit like that has been done in the fusion circuit. and i know someones going to say, "oh but thats the fusion circuit not the bhangra circuit." however, i have seen it done by bhangra-hip-hop fusion teams as well as at competitions that incorporate both bhangra and fusion categories. so aaron is correct in saying that the implementation of lights is not a new concept, however, the various ways taht its being executed now are unique.

wen the stage lights first turned off i was like wow good choice in beginning lighting, im surprised other teams didnt think of the white floor lighting

n then BAM i got hit with the flashlight saap segment, sadly (or fortunately) ONE person left the prop

btw the mike was too far so u cudnt hear jabar at all with the algoze in the beginning

yeah the lights are a bit more complicated then whats been seen before on stage.. it wasn't a ready made prop that you can just bring on stage and to make them chikka resistant wasn't easy either.. my prototypes always turned off when the shikke were slammed too hard or the LEDs would just snap right off the circuit board but now we know what works and what doesn't so its just a start


hmm wonder who didnt pick up the shikkka.. I'd say 20 all outs is a fair punishment!
