WOW, what a finish to that game! Ghana doesn't have anyone to blame but themselves; lots of missed opportunities from both sides in the 30 minutes of overtime actually.

Brazil losing was one of the biggest shockers in this WC; my heart sank after that own-goal. Congrats to all of you Holland supporters (especially Navkarn, because I know you've always loved them)! There better than not be tons of Oranje band wagoners now.

Still rooting for Argentina to make it to the Finals! Tomorrow's matches will be an excellent watch!

Wow, another huge upset! Germany played like such a beast team, easily spiting through the Argentina defense. It's going to be an amazing semi-final set of matches.

Suarez from Uruguay is a genius/(cheater)?. Knowing that goal was going in for sure, and that the final whistle would've blown any second, stopped the ball from going in, knowing that there was a slight chance that Ghana would miss the PK, and they did. In the end, indirectly got Uruguay into the semifinal. Took that slight window of oppurtunity and it paid off.

But now FIFA is considering banning him from the final as well (assuming Uruguay makes it that far).

Any thoughts on the potential ban?

i think banning him from the last match is ridiculous ... it's not cheating, it was a smart ass strategy he knew would come with consequences but in the end uruguay got the last laugh. he's going to serve a ban against the netherlands which is the price he paid and already a big blow ... why more? why wasn't maradona or thierry henry served with bans for their infamous hand balls?

Suarez played within the rules- he knew it was a PK and a card, and took it. I have thought about this numerous times, why dont teams do this more often? Essentially its like a hack-a-shaq strategy, where you're putting them on the line and forcing them to step up. Suarez took advantage of a loophole in the rulebook, and shouldn't be banned. Sure it might dampen the idea of "fair play" but lets be honest, what was exactly "fair" when ghana spent 20 minutes walking around the pitch against the US in an effort to bleed the clock?

its not a fault in the rules...its part of the game...he took a risk and it paid off...nothing wrong with what he did.

Villa's goal was pure luck
LOL luck? its funny how somtimes we sit here and pretend liek where experts and call things a fluke haha luck... i see u have football teams in ur personal box so u must have some knowledge villla looked up saw the near posts covered and look to the corner of the far post and put it there it just drifted a bit and its why it hit the inside of the post there was no LUCK involved he picked that corner and put it there
