On behalf of Bhangra Empire I'd like to say thank you to Boston committee for throwing yet another great show, to all the teams for making this weekend such memorable weekend.

From me i wanna give a shotout to the A-E-G boys (JOE!!!!!!)!!!! it was nice meeting some of you guys and awesome hanging out, Kinnell...man oh man...it was awesome meeting with you and partying with you. SHER- Osman, Sidhu, KALA! so glad it was you guys who were staying in the room across from me...jag, jess...it was fun riding the taxi with you guys along with mr. flask lol and gaurav. Navi, OJ, Dheeraj nice meeting you girls and seeing OJ again.

It was an amazing weekend...Can't wait to see all of you again. I know i missed a few people...i think its the fever =[

from the 4 videos i saw.... vcu apd empire aeg..

apd - it was definitely like kj, and their style. didnt feel it. not much complexity in formations etc. too many stunts n gimmicks. props on d tough stunts.

vcu - i dunno why every1 is saying it was an allright routine. i dont think ppl realize the complexity in their moves which they present so simply. their routine was awesome... formations were hot... dancers are hot. kept gimmicks etc to very minimal. the routine wz very good... didnt lack any X factor. the only things i would complain is as every1 said the dresses, the old ones were much better. i think the set wud hv looked even more better w/ ur older unis. also the song selection cud have been much better, it wasnt too entertaining. also i forgot... jhummer begginin wz sick!

empire - starting wz weird. reminded me of when we did PT (physical training) in india. did some interesting formations like d box opening... but then again, not doing proper bhangra in d first place. ending with the "bhangra empire" writing wz nice.

aeg - their best yet in my opinion. good to see less dominos. red n green jorhi did best.

Just need to say that our performance would not have been possible without the help of other teams there - HUGE thanks to gurpreet from AEG for tying our paggan - this guy is a godsend he tied 5 of our 7 paggan and perfectly too! Man is a beast. Thanks to Jaggi for tying as well! You guys hooked us up with the best paggan we've ever danced with, and we appreciate that so much.

Congrats to the teams that placed and to BBC Committee for yet again running a smooth and punctual competition!!!

To APD, Nav, VCU (Sheel, Arjun, SRK, Sunny, Marshal, all of you beautiful f*kers), Sabi, Kinnell, Danny, Abhi, Cornell (Arjun, Jim, Amit, all of you f*kers as well lol), Meryum (my future wife), Texas, Temur, the RU gang (Nika, Jaggi, Pashi), Dheerja, Saleem... I don't know if this list can be any longer, thanks for an amazing weekend. It was great sharing a stage with everyone, and I hope to see you guys soon.

Also, I finally got to see Pashi laugh/smile this weekend. If you're reading this, it's nice to see you're actually human. <3 you like a fat kid loves cake.

To my team, I hate you fuckers <3 We went from not getting into Boston for the past 2 years to being a top contender. Words can't express how proud I am. Also, I realized this weekend that I'm stuck with you guys until the day you're all dancing on my grave.

After watching the videos stunts and the like should not be awarded bonus points. Stunts are simply crowd hype. Empire and VCU had some of the more creative formations. APD is essentially KJ.

all i have to say is tht the after after party was the sickest shit ever great idea and the enviroment was hella chill everyone dancing, battling, drunk, and just pure intence fun loved it... shout outs to sher espically osman, kala, and sidhu for taxing out on sunday to kik it at tht fukin rat park...lol and kinnell one of the sickest dancers there... but bbc mostly for making boston bhangra my favorite comp 2 yrs in a row ... a whole fuckin yr for the next one cant wait lol

@jeeti:: yea, when yall came (Steel City @ Boston 2006) it was in the Plaza hotel, then the year after boston 2007 was at a club, and a different hotel, i think over by fenway, and then last year was the plaza hotel again for boston 08 and then this year again moved to a club. its like every other year it seems lol

plaza's ballroom was proper huge so it works out well. its jsut more convenient, keeps everyone together and off the streets. this year evyerone got splitup as expected, cuz making the buses in time to get to the afterparty is always annoying, some people prefer to take their time and pregame in hotel rooms and wat not.

i recommend the hotel next time. i think a general consensus vote would agree with that.

We did the afterparty this year as well...Zeus came on right after us...Was it me, or did anybody else thing that he was a bit strange???
