Sweet, congrats to all teams. I heard good things about LSD. How did Cornell Kudiyan do?

[Raj]

Cornell Kudiyan had a good dance...very synchronized. They got 3rd in the university bhangra category.

PCS actually splits the bhangra competition into two different categories: Overall and University. The cash prizes are only awarded to winners of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the Overall category. The winners of the university category receive no cash but do get huge trophies. So the official results for the Bhangra Category are:

Overall:
1) SIAC
2) Nachde Shokeen
3) Bulldawg Da Raaj

University:
1) Bulldawg Da Raaj
2) Emory Karma
3) Cornell Kudiyan

Congratulations to all the winners!

On a side note, SIAC no doubt put on a great show, but Nachde Shokeen definitely deserved 1st place. Either way, the results stand and it was once again an amazing weekend at PCS Chicago.

I went to watch. Good show, I had fun but very dissappointed afterwards. No party, no open dance, teams were told to just go back to their rooms and be quiet. whaaaccckkkkk Maybe if there hadn't been speeches in between every other dance, they could have ended earlier and had more than 10 mins for open dance. Just wayyyy too much talking. Winners were not even announced until like midnight.

I have a lot of comments on the teams and performances and everything, will write it up tomorrow.

Video reqs/talk are in another post, but yeah hopefully I can put some up!

It was a "Dinner banquet & Performance" you expect to have speeches

[Kanvar]

yeah i guess...all i know is i was told my team went up at 1130pm, found out the lineup round 5pm and were ready at 7pm.

something like 4 odd hours to wait to perform is pretty jaloose.

Congratulations to all the teams
