Over Ear Headphones?

Planning on buying a new pair of headphones, Any suggestions?


My budget it pretty flexible ~$300

I have the AKG K267, and before that I had AKG K240 Studio, and I personally havent found any better phones.


But best thing is to go to a music store, and try on different headphone with different genres of music.

I have two pairs that I love for bhangra - Audio Technica ATHM50 and KRK KNS8400.

I've got GSingh's last suggestion, and they're incredible. You can also find them much cheaper than $300. However, you need to be aware that they're monitors. They're not going to bump like Beats, but they'll reproduce EXACTLY whatever you put into them with high fidelity. Just be aware that these headphones do not flatter low quality stuff or crappy mixes. If you want brutal honesty in your headphones, get these. It's like being there when you listen to high quality audio.
