Hello everyone!

We would like to thank UMD, SMD, FCB, and CMU for sharing the stage with us at Pao Bhangra XVI this year! The show was incredible this year with a large audience and stellar performances from the teams. Perhaps the best part, it was nice to hang out with the teams in a stress-free and relaxed environment. All the teams that came definitely showed our community why they love Bhangra.

As per usual for the past few years, we would like to thank Harjot from GTV for coming out to Pao again this year. Thank you for coming to Pao and recording the performances. You help us share the experience of the weekend with the entire Bhangra community and we really appreciate what you do for this circuit. We hope to continue this relationship with you in the future!

Finally, we would love to hear feedback and reviews about the weekend from all the teams that came to Pao, and anyone else who may have attended Pao Bhangra XVI. These reviews will really help us work toward making Pao a better experience for all of you in the future!

Wanna start off with this--most fun I've had at a comp weekend ever. Period.

Cornell goes above and beyond to make the weekend as light hearted and fun as a "comp" weekend can be. The mixer was a good time where we got to explore the campus and meet the other teams. Afterwards, all the teams got to have post-mixer practice for as long they needed in Barton Hall (which is about the size of an airplane hangar). We were even able to starch our paghs and leave them over night in Barton, where the show is held. Tech times the next day ran super smoothly and we were given ample time to run everything we wanted to. The show itself is massive--with a bigger audience than some competitions I've been too, and with a sound system that was definitely louder than a lot of competitions I've been to. Afterparty was great; a ton of fun without being too crowded or short. The committee put on a Sunday morning brunch that was well appreciated by the team--performance awards were given out and we got to see everyone's GTV videos--shoutout to CMU for showing up 2 hours late

All in all, one hell of a weekend. Pao has been running for 16 years now so they definitely know what they are doing when it comes to putting on a Bhangra show. It was honestly the perfect mixture of a competition atmosphere and a relaxed exhibition performance. On top of a great weekend you get a $1,000 honorarium so its truly win-win. Shoutout to SOOM, Bari, and the entire Pao committee for all the work they put in to make the show a success--y'all really made FCB feel at home up in Ithaca
