PARTICIPATION OF FOREIGN BHANGRA TEAMS !!

Hi All !!

Just two/three years back, few bhangra teams from US / Canada were eager to have a glance of the 'Rich Cultural Heritage' of their own Punjab (as they never visited the land of five rivers) and were ready to participate/even compete in the 'Youth Festivals' here.

So, this time, on your behalf, I am going to meet and discuss the things with the Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh and may meet even to the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Punjab, by tomorrow or the day after, and let you know the things/their decision, in a day or so, please.

Dear Rohit, Meistro..

Last time also I 'Meet the Press' to have the possibility of foreign teams here...and the Professor Incharge, Punjab University Youth Festival told me that they are having a specific target i.e. only India and couldn't go beyond that, and moreover they were also having limited funds i.e. for Boarding & lodging, Rebate in Airtravel, Security etc.. ...and advised me to contact 'Private Sponsors.'

If few teams are really interested, please let me know asap and I can again discuss the things with the Panjab University, Media, Punjab Government and even the Private Sponsors.
