No team can challenge PCBCA when it comes to actual dancing. Other teams may have more theatrics, but they cannot measure up to these guys' skill level. Their form, grace and technical dancing ability is off the charts.

I like the set. Just quick observations from the first minute...
You have great ideas that magnify the impact of your style. Fast and clean saap segment followed by slow down is great. However
1. Saap segment, I feel, should be a tad longer to justify change of speed.
2. If your going to do change of speed, make it something where you dont drop props and pick up. Interrupts the flow/effect of slowdown
3. Form is critical for slowdown. Outside saap guys need to get low.
4. What was the point of the pointing to the ground? I get it goes into the next step, but your standing up and pointing. Maybe if you all did it together it might have been better, but its feels more like a gimmick for the sake of having a gimmick. Again, its not dynamic(your already slow), on another plane(your still high), or especially difficult
This is just a micro sample of the set, but stick to being tremendously clean, great form, and having fewer but creative ideas and Ill think youll be set. It was still a great performance and definitely in contention for a placing.

After watching the videos, not surprised at all that this didn't place.
If you're going for a slower, simpler set with less creativity (and the creative elements were derivative/already done to death aka sword slices, hitting khundeys, waterfall effects, nothing new that made me say "Wow, I've never seen a team do that"), then you better have absolutely no mistakes and be super clean. This was NOT that - there were 4-5 obvious mistakes and while this was clean, it wasn't PCBCA clean. Hell, there were other teams that placed that were just as clean but had more creativity. What's the argument for placing at that point?
PCBCA at Elite 8 is a performance I will continue to show all my friends as an example of an amazing bhangra team. But I fail to see the superior dancing talent and coordination at this performance.

well said , but this on a personal opinion deserved a placing , veery different style . Thats what makes PCBCA so different from other teams . their style .Sue Sylvester said:

It was not as clean as previous performances, but the fact that they have their own distinct style (and are not focusing on the same style set almost every other team at Idols did) is refreshing.
