Why is the bhangra prize substantially larger than the gidha prize? I believe it should be equal as the ladies practice just as hard to compete at national level.


Does anyone else have any thoughts on this matter?

Mans - maybe you are right. If there are less Gidha teams it is understandable why prize money is less.

The bhangra prize is substantially larger than the gidha prize because there are only a few gidha teams competing in comparison to the amount of bhangra teams.
