Honestly after watching all the videos from fusion, i would disagree with the placings. VCU definitely deserved first, but I thought MSU girls ripped it. They deserved 2nd over pdds.
No i'm not trying to bash pdds and start drama, I'm just giving my thoughts. I thought the performance was good overall, but nothing really stood out to me. Mix was good...everything was clean, but MSU's performance seemed more entertaining than this, while including traditionality. I know i'm giving vague reasoning, but its hard to pinpoint things because this wasn't a bad routine. It's just that for the caliber of the competition, it didnt seem second place worthy.
Also, I vaguely remember at the competition, a diff intro video was played that really highlighted the fact that this was pdds's last performance. I remember thinking after they announced the placings that there's a small possibility that the judges (i think most of whom have been judging this comp before) maybe gave pdds a higher score than they deserved because it was their last performance.
I dunno...maybe i shouldnt have posted that last point, I'm just getting really bored over break. I really hope this doesn't upset anyone on pdds
