Please report download issues

I've been working on an issue for the past few days where users are complaining that their download is marked as "interrupted" midway. I've experienced this myself, and am working to prevent this issue.

Can you please tell me if you get this issue, and in general what your download speeds are when downloading attachments (also include if you are on some super slow DSL and it's actually limited by your ISP).

I changed something about 10 minutes ago so just reply if anything happens moving forward.

Thanks,
Saleem

hey saleem
so i was trying to download ikko tera lakh warga off the media center, and idk if it's the files, but both nannu.info and fmw11.com ones (the site was in the filename) downloaded with weird skips. as in, there were points in the song that it would stutter like a scratched CD. i thought it might have been a download issue. it's not exactly the same, but i thought i might as well report it.

OS: vista (64-bit)
download speeds: even the largest files on here never take more that 5 or 6 seconds to download. in fact, i never usually get to look at the actual speed because the download finishes before i have a chance to.
ISP: roadrunner
browser: chrome

I think the problem is with the browser, specifically Google Chrome..I mainly use Chrome and it gets interrupted midway, and ive tried with Vista and Windows 7 OS's
I used Firefox and it downloaded in 5 seconds with speeds from 158 kb/sec to 183 kb/sec

Same for me, its a chrome only problem. and its something new because i've always used chrome as my primary browser. Don't recall speeds but i tried to download some music today and the tracks failed.

This is actually a common chrome problem that has to do with segmented downloads. There's not a ton we can do without completely revamping how attachments are stored. Will keep researching to see if theres a solution

No problems on firefox (or palemoon v3,4,5 i see you Gsingh!)
