Practice Locations

I know there's a thread on random places you've practiced, but I wanted to know, where do teams generally practice?
Do y'all rent a studio, own a studio, outdoors, rec centre, etc? And if you rent, how much do you rent for?

Our school has an aerobic studio, which is a dance studio. Fancy wood floors, full wall of mirrors, surround stereo, it was great. Then they started charging us $5 per person for every non-current-student which was half our team, and the people working there started being bitc#y and mean to us and stuff... Basically the lady in charge hated us for silly little reasons, and started placing all these restrictions and rules on us and stuff...

Now we go there only if we really need to. Our regular practice spot is a conference room/banquet room on campus. It's about the size of two high school classrooms, and one whole wall is glass so we can look at our reflections if we want to. Open space, and it's pretty private we can close the doors and we aren't much of a disturbance even with Dushmani blaring on full volume, haha

In past I've also practiced on basketball courts, which works out alright.

We have our own studio and practise their, but depending on how many people we are taking on stage somtimes it feels like its over flowing, then we head outside to parking lots or rent out areobic studios and that costs us about $25-30 a hour.

studio in surrey and a place in richmond, although we have practiced at various other locations when those two were not available.

Studioes/large rooms on school campus, outside of the UF football arena, parking buildings, dorm courtyards, even dorm common rooms. ANYWHERE you can get lol.

For regular practices...mason practices in a dorm common area...before the actual event, we move on over to a parking garage on campus in order to really map out formations..
and we have to reserve the dance studio, which is never guaranteed. so that's also hard work!

we got our own studio, surround sound, mirrors all around, computers, hard wood floor, big stage, changing room, its a crazy studio.

we have are own studio with mirros, changing rooms, computer, pictures all around, couple of offices, and also a room too keep our vardiyan

props to teams not spoiled by studios. thats raw talent and passion right there.

we go to studios now but before, in the winter, parking lot days...till 2 am. That was the real deal.

varun, you got lucky this year, the year before you joined we only went to the studio two or three times before a comp, other than that it was always in the parking structure. i think the team practiced in the same lot for a few years before too

we wish we had a parking lot because the ground is flat. We practice in a shop that has no heat and we have practiced in it when it was -3 degrees gettin ready for our first comp. The ground is not flat it has bumps and hole in it. Our feet kill when u have like 9 hour practices a week be4 a comp. We wish we had a studio.
