Props to Bhangra Empire

Actual audience count was around 16,000 - i just spoke with the owner of Dulhan Grocery and Fashion House in Fremont. He sold a lot of tickets himself as a sponsor so he knew a more accurate figure for audience size. What can I say, bruah!

Ranjit, there were no cameras allowed, and I'm not sure exactly how strict they were about that...

As far as the crowd goes they definitely gave us a great round of applause at the end and some nice responses. I noticed a couple of people dancing in the crowd and some pretty big smiles. It was a great opportunity for bhangra in general and I'm sure a bhangra performance was a treat for the 25% or so of the audience who was Punjabi.

She was the highlight (for me anyway haha)... The Unforgettable tour mainly features the Bachans and Ash along with Preity Zinta and Riteish Deshmukh but throughout the tour they have a "special guest" at each show. Madhuri is one, and Akshay Kumar and Shilpa Shetty are the others, I think. The real blessing was performing at the show that Madhuri attended because, let's face it, Akshay and Shilpa are pretty much B-listers in comparison to Madhuri Dixit- She is a Legend!!! =)

Haha they were actually checking everyone's bags and purses for cameras - but that's no excuse, a lot of people had their still cameras...anyway my sister managed to sneak in a still camera and she took those pics - the performance was very similar to the Bruin one I thought - the best part was the folding-square formation...so yeah, sorry i couldnt record it - but empire dancers' friends in the audience probably did?
