Did anyone else get an email like this one??

I kind of thought it was a little sketch because the individual kept asking for team member names and wouldn't take NO for an answer lol!

Thanks for whiting out the guy's personal info Jags. BTF doesn't need any more complaints :p

This individual sounds an awful like whom RsKderpu was describing here: http://bhangrateamsforum.com/discuss/main-bhangra-discussion/competition-listings/msg226860/#msg226860

I'm pretty sure this is his friend messaging you.

Just as a side note, there have been previous events to do similar things (i.e. http://www.bhangraconnect.com/). That was a pretty nice website put together by Lucky Multani.

It takes a lot of backing to get something new off the ground though (I still remember the struggle of bringing people to BTF from POL, argh). Best of luck to whoever is trying!

CMU got the email too.
He sent us a picture of what he was working on (it was another team's page, not sure if I should say which team or not...).

We asked why he didn't use BTF and to give us more info, and haven't responded since. Not really sure what the deal is.

We told him we'd help out with some of the stuff that asked for but not team member names. Then it turns into a privacy issue for some of the members. It's one thing to have them listed on a FB page that is moderated by the team but to have their info on another page can get a little sketchy (no offense to the individual), but we wish him all the best and hope it all works out :)
