Real World: Brooklyn

What happens when you put a buncha 20 somethings in a house with all the luxuries of every apt in the Marcy housing projects combined, an unlimited amount of booze, access to every party in the city, and given what will most likely be a do-nothing job (i forget a few years back that even included making smoothies)...

oh i forgot to mention at least half the people they put in the house usually have some form of a drinking problem...

real world...my ass...mtv sending the right message to youth as usual.

I didn't get that.
Are you trying to say imagine putting 20 teenagers in a house with life time booze?

Sorry if it was a confusing post...but for thosse that have seen the real world...the beginning usually starts with "what happens if.." but moving on...what I am saying is..it's not a fair depiction by any stretch of the imagination of what the "real world" is like...in the show all they do...at least all they show them doing is going out, coming back, and usually some drama goes down...and what i meant by the "luxuries" comment is that..the house that they put them in is SICKKK...which is not a fair depiction of the situation most people are in...especially those in Brooklyn...

the title just bothers me "Real World: Brooklyn"....theres nothing real about it.

Oh my goddess- So, I grew up watching Real World around the Boston/Hawaii session! I loved this show...like I wanted to audition to be one of the cast members... =]  I was hooked because the people on the show were NORMAL people.  When I say normal like normal people like me and you....not super hot, drug/alcoholics/dramatic people. The show was real and was really entertaining. I feel that after the Las Vegas session the show went the hell right after. Everyone now is either super hot, too preppy, too "ethical," the gay one, the jock.... etc it's soo fake and there is nothing "Real," about the show except for the fact that your watching scripted people do typical stereotypical things... anyway I'm not shocked to know that its in Brooklyn....I'm sure this session will be just like the others...crap.

Hmm...and how do producers allow crack to be used without being kicked out immediately IE: Joey in the Real World Hollywood

Real World & Road Rules were good shows up till 2003. Then they just went downhill.
