Recommendation for video editing?

I've never edited video beyond some intro videos in Adobe Audition... Any recommendations for a video editor [Windows]? Thanks

if u have a mac imovie does some basic but very cool stuff when u actually experiment with it, but if not there are good things for PC put there. if you want torrent for the program search for video editing and then in the actual torrent page it gives a description a lotta people comment on it wether if they like it or not. also youtube has a lot of reviews.

For editing, Sony Vegas. For creation (like effects and whatnot) Adobe after effects.
