[SIZE=medium] APV Entertainment of Seattle, WA is proud to announce the first ever Reign of Bhangra 2017 Bhangra Competition! APV Entertainment is striving to bring an ever lasting legacy event to the Pacific Northwest and bring the bhangra scene back to Seattle. All teams from all locations of any size are encouraged to participate in the registration process and hopefully be a part of this legacy event!

Prize money will be awarded to 1st place with $2000, 2nd place with $1000, and 3rd place with $500!

APV Entertainment is the organization that is bringing to you Reign of Bhangra. APV is an an acronym for Apne Panjab Varga which is an organization started by the youth of Seattle in effort to revive the Punjabi culture and educate the youth about the beautiful culture we are blessed to be a part of. We love the response we have received so far and would love to get all the support we can to make this a successful event and reach our vision to spread the Punjabi culture!

[SIZE=medium]In the previous announcement made by APV, we mentioned the minimum age of the dancers being 16 however due to the concern of many teams having some dancers below that age, we have modified the minimum age requirement. Each team is allowed to have 30% of its dancers be below the age of 16 however no one below the age of 14 is allowed to participate in the competition. 70% of the team will need to be above the age of 16. The reason for the age restriction is because of liability concerns with the venue. Also Reign of Bhangra is hosting a stage for senior teams in order to allow fair judging and to not have junior teams compete against senior teams. We apologize again for any inconvenience but hope that this will open doors for many more teams. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us anytime.[/SIZE]
