I am depressed. The leafs lost, and the raptors got their asses handed to them. Ted rogers died too.

Summy,

Comments from your headcoach... Apparently he thinks the Sharks are by far the best team in the league... You couldn't possibly disagree with your boy Ron Wilson could you?

"From what I've seen, this is easily the best team in the league," Wilson said after the Leafs gave up four goals in the first 17:07. "If we somehow could have survived maybe the first 10 minutes of the game, we would have found an equilibrium, but it was over by then. That was one where you throw the white towel in the corner, [like] in a boxing match." -- Toronto Head Coach Ron Asshole Wilson...

I can disagree with Ron Wilson. They only hired that guy to lure Brian Burke, considering they are best friends.

Vikramjeet Kaur, there is no way I am going to admit, and true fans are willing to admitt than the sharks are the best until they prove themselves in the playoffs. Until then, the stanley cup champions are still the best team in the NHL, not the best record, but the best TEAM in the NHL.

Ron Wilson help develope alot of your players Vick, so you need to calm down the hate on that guy. He put you guys to the upper part of the NHl, and developed people like Cheecho, and otherwise bum.\

By the way, just to kinda throw this out there, the majority of the players on the Sharks are canadian vick. They are our guys. The same country you like to make fun of. Thanks for supporting us, we appreciate it.

So I'm guessing he gets fired after this season? Toronto is the hotbed for hockey right? Since the only reason they got Wilson was to lure Burke, they should just fire him now... 2-3 other teams have already fired head coaches which they hired this year... I judge a coach by the number of championships he brings to a team and how he goes about managing a team... He was also the reason why the Sharks were the most underachieving team in professional sports, yet he wouldn't admit it if his life depended on it. He walks around with an air of confidence as if he was some hockey god... Toronto fans will soon learn to hate him, just wait... Well thank god Canada is good for something, I knew there was a reason why Canada was somewhat important in the world... You keep bringing up the Stanley Cup card and how Detroit won it last year so they by default are the best TEAM in the league, how many more times do we have to beat them this year? We dont just have the best record, we've straight up destroyed every legit contender this year minus the Rangers... These weren't just wins, they were demolitions by hockey standards... We've obliterated more records this year than Detroit has in the last 5 years combined... The Cup is on its way... It's been 46 years since Toronto won it, pathetic for a franchise that considers itself one of the elite...

Muqabla, when I called you an idiot earlier, it wasn't because of the fact that you went to ECU, I just wanted to clarify that... My dislike for ECU is because we lost to you guys in football this year... Boast I will, but I know the real test for this team will be in the playoffs... We'll talk again in may....

Vick, answer me this question, because its confusing me.

You discredit Wilson because he didnt bring you guys a championship, even though before his arrival you guys were garbage. So obviously a championship is obviously a standard for you, which is great. THEN you turn around and discredit the Wings, and say they possibly cant be the best team because you beat them in the regualar season, even though they have been the best team in the last two decades and have won the most championships.

It confuses me because by your logic, a head coach should be judged by how well they perform in the regular season, and well they do against the former champions. Obviously thats how you judge the success of your team. Why care about championships by judging your coach, but when evaluating a team, use the regular season performces as your criteria?

Summy its simple, just because you were the best team LAST year does not make you the best team this year... So if Detroit was to go winless this year, would they still be the best team in the league just because they won the cup last year? Your success in previous seasons doesn't AUTOMATICALLY make you the best team in the league the following year.. Is Detroit good? Hell yea, second best in the league right now behind the Sharks...

raptors got straightttt upppp poundeddd man...idk wut happened??
What happened is what most people with any basketball IQ could see before the season...a soft team with no defense, no bench and a lack of shooters.

Bosh is a beast, but he can't carry this team when he gets doubled and has no one on the outside to shoot. Calderon is an okay point gaurd, but the guy can't play any D and is getting torn up by any and all point gaurds. O'Neal, as predicted has been average but INJURY PRONE. As much as some people wanted to make you believe he was 100% before the season, it was clear the guy would not make it through the year healthy. All the talk of best front court was crazy premature and is looking real silly right now. If you are trying to rely on JONeal at the tail end of the season, your in trouble...because this injury stint is not going to be his last, its just the beginning. Then you have the 2 and 3 spot which is god awful.

Bosh is the only thing keeping this team from the lottery...and even he has struggled against the better teams in the league. My guess is they make the playoffs as 6 or 7 seed (as I predicted before the year) and Bosh gets shut down in the first round when he gets doubled and has no one to take the load off of him.

The talk of Toronto and Philly was all hype before the year..in the end its coming to Cleveland, Boston and Detroit.

The problem was our coach. We lost about 4 games on straight stupid coaching moves, and horrible play calling, ie- the NJ nets game. We let Vince Carter get open on an inbound play, and he admitted it. Oneal has only missed like 3 or 4 games, and he would have played all those games if they were in the playoffs.

Raptors shooting is great, but our perimeter players need improvement. AP is at best a bench player on a championship winning team. OUr frontcourt is still one of the best when they were healthy and playing together, it is the 2 and 3 position that is the problem for the raptors. Calderon is playing on ONE ankle right now, and hasnt been 100% since the 3rd game of the season. Now that Mitchell is gone, IO am not sure our interm coach can get it done, so unless Avery Johnson is willing to sign that contract mid way, which apperently he doesnt want to, the raptors have to wait till the offseason to get him. Stan Van Gundy also has interest in the raptors and working under colangelo.

WHO THE HELL THINKS THE PISTONS ARE A THREAT? NOT one person will say that the nuggets didnt win the trade. They are something like 9-1 with Billups, and the pistons are a .500 team with Iverson. He is brining immaturity to a club already hampered by that problem. Face it, you guys messed up, and the pistons are not a threat in the east anymore. The Cavs, Magic, Celtics, and even the Hawks pose more of a threat than the Pistons. Since Iverson came on board, he has been missing open shots, layups, and like I said when the trade happened, he is not the same iverson. If it wasnt for that 4-0 or 5-0 start you guys had with billups, the raptors and the pistons would be at the same record right now...

Lol, yeah all is good now that Mitchell is gone. Magically, Calderon will develop a defensive game. Magically, you guys will get a SG and SF. Magically, your bench will find guys who can play consistently and bring toughness/shooting. Magically, you can now rely on O'Neal's weak legs.

Bro, you know you guys have crazy problems that NO coach is going to fix. These issues are serious, and when your D is that bad, no way do you get past the 1st round. O'Neal is not going to be healthy for you, nor is he going to be consistent. He missed 4 games, played 13 mins in another, and 18 in the most recent. The guy is not healthy. And he wont be. As the season progresses, his strength will only diminish. He has a history of knee problems and ankle issues which are coming up again. As far as the best frontcourt, who exactly is your backup big? Kris Humphries? lol.You guys lack so much, and are not that young. I don't see much hope for you guys at all. Like I said, be happy with 6 or 7 seed.

About the Pistons, they started 3-0 with Billups then beat your Raps without AI or Billups. Dont exaggerate. I think your cred for basketball is slipping when you told all of us your Raps and Sixers would end the season better than the Pistons this year. ANd when you said the Raps would win the East last year. Billups has done great in Denver, and I and most Pistons fans are happy about that. He was a good guy, and everyone here loved him. I still check his stats after every game to see how he is doing.

But I think you know AI is the hardest player to implement into a system. The hardest. And when you have guys like Stuckey, Rip and Afflalo all in the backcourt looking for minutes, it will take time. But I think the win on the road against LA to hand them their 1st loss, win @ San Antonio and others prove this team can win and will not go away. Last year we werent a threat. But surprise surprise, we ended up in the ECF. If you think we arent a top 4 team in the East, you are kidding yourself. The Magic don't scare anyone...I think the way we have handed them losses every year in the playoffs proves that. If you think the Cavs, Celtics, Magic, Hawks, Sixers or ur Raps are happy to play the Pistons, don't kid yourself. I am confident this team would make a series out of any team they play in the East. Right now, the Celtics and Cavs are clearly better. But I think we come in at 3 or 4 with Orlando in the mix. But this is early, and when AI gets acclimated, watch out.

The pistons have 3 more wins than the raptors. Since the Iverson trade the pistons or 6-6 or 7-6. HE IS A SHOOTING GUARD. Other than a Centre, it is one of the easiest positions to start with in a new team. Billups is a point guard. His job to disturbute, run the offense, know each play, and know the strengths of each player. How does one explain a PG fiiting into a system, quicker than a shooting guard?

Michael Curry, a first year coach, has a VERY simply offense. Compared to George Karl, the pistons offensive and defensive schemes are a peice of cake. If Iverson hasnt gotten over 15 games or so, I doubt something is going to change anytime soon. If Billups can learn and adjust to the nuggets offense, then you giving Iverson a grace period makes no sense.

EVERY SINGLE HUMAN BEING WITH A HEARTBEAT, can admit that the nuggets robbed the pistons. But Harman, oh no, he has the special pixie dust that makes him see things that others cant.

I think your credibility has gone down the drain after a) you blame MJ for the lack of attention to the inner city drug use of Chicago, haha, and b) amongst other things continue to think the pistons are up there with the new eastern conference. If the raptors, like you said, are playing with such a shitty team, how are the pistons only 1 game above .500 with Iverson, and the raptors, are 1 game below .500? I dont know your logic doesnt make sense, but hey, lets blame on... lets say MJ.

Calm down harman before you explode as you how you think its a disgrace that we disagree on basketball issues because we are sikh brothers etc... You take things way too personally, its all good.

Hey did you hear the crime rate in Newark NJ is now 4th in country? I BLAME THAT ASSHOLE VINCE CARTER, right harman?
