dhol etc were pretty good, they look exactly like they are in the picture. personally i don't like ours anymore because i want the smaller darker kind, but some people really like the dhol etc ones

here at east carolina university...we made ours for our first competitoin...although we have new ones now...the ones that we made by hand were AMAZING..they neverrr broke...if a screw comes loose..just tighten it back up and ur good to go...tkaes a little while but its worth it...

if u hav the time, definitely make them since u can choose the quality of the wood, else u can get
the skinnier darker ones from punjab sports in brampton ontario, i prefer the thicker ones from dhol etc
which last longer compared to the skinnier ones but if u want speed then go with the skinnier ones
