*SDS - New All Girls Bhangra Team*

[SheenaKothari]

Hi everyone!

I am very excited to introduce Sherniyan Di Sarkari, the new all-female independent competitive bhangra team based in the Midwest region. We are very pleased and honored to announce that we will be competing for the first time alongside other all-female bhangra teams this May, 13th in Toronto at the World’s Women Festival.

We would like to thank all of our friends and family who have supported us through this process of creating this team. We would also like to thank the World’s Women Festival Committee for giving us this opportunity to present what we have been working so hard for. We promise we won’t disappoint

If you want to learn more about this team follow us on Facebook and Instagram @sherniyandisarkari !

Firstly, welcome to BTF Sheena Big ups for starting another all-female team! Where about in the Midwest are you gals from? Look forward to seeing some videos of your debut performance.

Get the rest of your squad registered on BTF if they aren't already. This is a great place to share your thoughts/questions/etc. We also have so many topics discussed here that it's an amazing resource to learn so many different aspects of bhangra.

All the best,

~ Basim

ayyyy good luck to you girls! if this is going to be mostly the buckeye girls, then the circuit and the midwest is definitely going to be shaken up a bit!
Going to try and head to toronto to see y'all if @ericsingh3 gonna stop in Detroit on his way

Thank you so much @Basim and @smehta313!
Most of our girls are from Ohio but we also have some girls from Pittsburgh and Chicago on the team
I'll be sure to make sure they all make BTF accounts to keep up with the circuit!
