WOAH.

This was so so so so solid. I've watched this team grow over the past few years and go through a couple stylistic changes but I've got to say, you guys found it. Reeda, you have done some amazing work with this team and you need to keep it up. Yes placings in bhangra are important but sets like these are forever cherished. I haven't seen the other sets but this could've easily taken a placing at any competition.

I really like that you guys brought back some of the old things and innovated, like the chunnis coming out of the matkis. This is the best dancing ive seen from SMD girls and I have to say 1-12 were all very very very solid.

Aneesha (dolphin) and her jordi absolutely smashed it. Reeda/Divya your nakhra was just on point the whole damn set. If anything the rest of the girls can get that from you... but other than that, this was an awesome set. The choreo and formations were very original. I LIKE.

Wow, this is a side of SMD i've never seen before. Very clean, very even energy throughout, very nice choreography. I especially liked the bedi segment, something I found more unique. Definitely one of the most enjoyable performances I've seen in a while.

Only one thing I didn't like though: When you started jhummar facing back, you girls had zero bounce in those moves, it looked like you were just raising your legs without hopping into the next step. Once you turned around to face the audience that all changed and your form was on point again. You all clearly know how to dance, so just make sure you keep bouncing shoulders and hopping during that segment, otherwise you'll look very rigid. Congrats on a VERY well put together routine though, it was a pleasure to watch.

So I have watched the entire seasons worth of videos and had the pleasure of competing against this team multiple times. First off, I just want to say that with the schedule you girls run and the practices you go through, this is a phenomenal set to execute at such a high competitive level. Kudos to being able to successfully compete despite severe logistical problems.

The dancing:

Was on point throughout most of the performance. A big step in the positive direction is that a lot of the dancers now had both grace and control over their moves, as well as a great stage knowledge of where to be, where to look, and how to interact with each other and the audience.

Parts of the set I really liked -

- Jhoomer was fantastic. Had great control and really channeled a grace that I have never seen from you all
- Movement and build of saap segment
- Jawaab/Punjabne choreo and movement
- Chaffa and 2ment

I think bottom line this isn't just a placing set(I think it is), but its a pretty good showcase of a great evolution of sets(Burgh-Fever-Bell-Warrior) and how a set can be changed and be more dynamic and eye-catching over time. The fact that it was unique twists to dancing made the dynamics really stand out in lieu of current, contemporary sets.

Only small things - form is not 100% synced the board, and its noticeable in a lot of the build steps into drops. Big thing for me was back not being straight in chaal for some and legs for other parts of the set, but every impact moment in the set was very well executed and entertaining.

I loved watching this routine live! You guys definitely had a very well executed fun performance and the crowd loved it as well. Love that you guys brought back old segments/songs with tweaks because it all just flowed so well. Probably my favorite SMD set !

Best SMD set to date, and in my opinion, the best all-girls routine of all time. Loved the creative choreography, cleanliness, execution, and energy throughout!

Whoa! where did this come out of? SMD taking it up a notch? Great performance ladies and clearly your best one by far...i dont know if these are newer smd dancers but the dancing level seemed to be a lot higher in this one then others in the past....this set exhibited something that other past smd sets in the past seemed to have lacked: Flow. the flow from song to song, segment to segment, everything just made sense in this one. Every song and segment just worked, i dont know how else to describe it. You guys took a set without gimmicks and made it just as entertaining with fantastic execution. Keep up the good work ladies and congrats on your best performance to date!

Wow. I'm completely speechless at all this positivity... Don't even know what to say! Thanks to everyone for your feedback! We've been working extremely hard and are looking to continue improving. Would love to hear more from you - the good and the bad! That said, please do keep the feedback coming and feel free to PM me or post any in-depth critiques.

Special Mentions 8)
- Huge thank you to Amar and Ram from FCBeats for dealing with me at all hours of the night for the last 8 months (literally!) to get the mix where it needed to be. You guys are the best and a huge reason as to why this routine was able to flow so well (as stated in a previous comment above).

- Need to give a shout out to Anesha Agarwal for picking up the entire routine in just two practices and killing it on stage with us at Warrior. MVP.

- Thank you to Harjot/GTV for doing what you do while asking for so little in return!

- Congrats to all the placing teams from all the comps listed below and thank you to all the organizers, as well. I don't think I can complain about any of the competitions we've been to this season - we've been taken really good care of throughout!

- I haven't been able to give comp reviews just yet (they are coming), but we've had some amazing liaisons this year that deserve special mention! All our love to Rohit and Maneesha from Bell and Rupi, Bobby and Daya [honorary liaison] from Warrior. You guys are the best - seriously!!

Mention not, you are very welcome. I am extremely proud of both you and the entire SMD click. You've all, collectively, faced your fair share of speedbumps this season, but you still found a way to jump over everything and come out swinging. The Warrior Bhangra performance is a perfect testament of this. I really look forward to seeing what you bring out next season!

Absolutely killed it. It's inspiring seeing so many talented girls dancing on par with, if not better than, many teams out there. Divya and Naomi, so proud that you guys are reppin CMU, you have become even better dancers if that's even possible. Reeda, it's been awesome meeting you this season and seeing what you've done with the team. This set gets better at each comp and should have placed at everything you went to in my eyes. Probably the first solid girls team I've seen in a while. Keep it up!!
