Good start but seems like you guys are putting alot of emphasis on the formations. Everyone needs to get the steps down first. Some of the dancers are picking up the next step without completing the previous. Alot more team practice is needed.

Good Luck and keep going.

I agree with everything posted above, just a few extra things. Try to link up with another more experienced team for practices and maybe they can help you guys so you are more confident in the basics, most teams usually are willing to help! Also, hold khunda and other props correctly and try not to use gimicks that others have used. I've seen that "Nachdi de" gimick where the team posed one after another before. (Just try not to copy other teams)

Energy level is one of the main keys you guys got to work on, some people are having trouble actually executing moves or even having a flow to the steps.
Using a NJ move isn't original.
Pair your dancers up on experience and such.
And deffinatly learn how to hold ur props. This is major, especially on the khunde part, if your not holding it right, it looks sloppy.

Man, it was really sloppy. However I like that you seem to love to dance and are really energetic. Spend a lot more time just cleaning up the routine.

also:
2. Keep the khunde hooks back to you
3. Get your shoulders going on jugni
5. One finger on your hands for dhamaal
6. Dont keep your hands behind your elbows for pataka/dhamaka

If you want a more detailed review, let me know.

Good start.

man-up, paghs arnt that bad, just spend some time learning to tie them properly and they shouldnt hurt too much

ima sound like a broken record but just basically what eveeryone said before

1)excute your moves properly, for example the dhamaal needs to be fixed up alot, other moves, you guys just need to complete the moves, if you cant get in touch with another team, there are plenty of videos on youtube you could just look at...id reccommend watching live team performances, heeray, rooh, nachde shokeen, kfac, siac, shan-e-punjab, sudhar, pau, khalsa college...watch their videos and learn. Live videos are better to learn from because the moves executed in a way that it was meant to be executed and your also goin to have all your segments in there as well

2)learn to hold the props properly, not too difficult, just get in the habit of holding the khunda near the bottom, you can still have a couple inches of overhang at the bottom and its still fine...to stabilize the khunda, rather than just grabbing the khunda and making a fist, support the khunda with your thumb, so basically, your hand is in a "thumbs up" position. The saaps, you guys need to raise your arms higher, alot of the guys are using the saaps down at their waist

3) throw in a slow graceful jhoomer segment, by the end of your performance your gonna be hella tired if you just have 7-8 minutes of just straight up-beat dancing

+1
When your using your saaps, have them at least chest level and extend your arms more when your using them.
The jhoomar part is the part where you take your breath and just be slow and graceful. Your guys seemed really tired towards the middle of the set.

As everyone has already said, work on the moves themselves before anything else, if the moves don't look right the entire set looks wack. Also, worry about any kind of acrobatic stuff after you have the moves down. Furthermore, most of you have your hand on the khunde too high and the hook isn't facing towards you. Also, for a lot of moves, you aren't looking at the audience (thats why you are there in the first place so give them your respect and look at them). Lastly and most importantly, SMILE, without a smile the audience doesn't feel the energy and we quickly loose interest. Other than that, keep practicing and you guys will get somewhere.

Good Luck
