Hey guys, another mix. This is prolly the best one i have done so far (again its not finished yet).

Before people start to flame, i got this idea from APD's Elite 8 mix, just thought I'd try to make it into a full song.

Let me know what you think.

its not on beat! lol

i thought this too. a way to avoid this would be to not use the background of still dre so much, especially in the parts that the song changes tempo--that is, when they pause to get to a new verse.

the offbeatness gets progressively worse and worse as the song goes along, and it's particularly bad at 3:12. i would suggest splitting the track and beatmapping the different portions individually. the shinda duet has a very dynamic, fluctuating tempo so you can't just roll with one BPM.

thanks guys.

The off beat thing just might be the EQ, but ill go through it again.

EDIT: I jsut noticed, i render the whole song. only was supposed to be like 2 min. SOrry about that.

its not that shinda duet is super multi- tempo (some parts are), just that it has little gaps that Still DRE doesnt, just noticed. Thank for feed back

Use tempo markers.
can you use them on just on1 track? because when i used them, they affected the all the tracks at once.
Beatmap the tracks before. When acid prompts you to beatmap, beatmap all the songs. Go to every song and beatmap individually using this. It should help in the beat-mapping process tremendously(Thank Swi for the tip)

if you are trying to dynamically beatmap a single track, go to clip properties, click on the stretch tab and on the right you'll see the track and the beats. You can double click (or right click) on the top bar and add a marker. Use this to adjust the tempo dynamically by adding what you need. You can also adjust pitch and tempo here if necessary (mirza is not 4/4 for instance so I've found it mildly useful to set the tempo of it to 5/8 but you can also just cut it up. Just depends on your needs). This is not necessary unless you use the song a LOT, otherwise it's faster and easier to just cut it up to be on beat

Realistically though, I think it's the mixing that's off. It comes in off beat after you cut it out, make sure you start it on beat
