so i was at this Gurdwara in Surrey this weekend and they had this sweet projection system hooked up to this laptop. On the laptop was a program called Sikhi to the Max II. what it was was a giant database of all sorts of shabads and kirtan. Then it played it in like a slide show form with it written in punjabi, then the pronounciation in english, and the translation. I thought it was really cool cuz for someone like me who cant always understand every single word in a shabad, it helped...you guys should check it out

Toronto Gurudawara's have been doing that for like 2 years now...surprised that it just started in VAN. since the population of sikhs is so much larger there

its an amazing website and an awsome program.

gurdawara's have been doing it for so long in bc. it just depends on what gurdawara u go to.

hit up khalsa school on a sat with akj kirtan going on, mad smaagam time, everyone is singing out loud with the shabads, so powerful.

Yeah, we have had it at the Gurudwaras in Michigan for a while. It is a great resource for Gurudwara but even for your own personal use to read Gurbani with a greater understanding. You can search for specific subjects or just read random Shabads.
