haha I was expecting shannon brown to do some nice dunks tonight. I've seen him in games, and that guy has hops. What a disappointment, he ran the full length of the floor just to jump from the half circle in the paint to SWITCH the ball from right to left hand? REALLY?! hahahaha.....I was actually thinking tonight, about the reason for guys like KOBE and LEBRON not being in the contest. Could their possibly be some sort of clause in their contracts restricting them from participating in such events to avoid injuries? I mean shit, Vincanity is still playing, so is T-Mac, D-Wade is some ridiculous hops. They seriously can't think of anybody better than to have Nate Robinson as 3-time champ?

To be honest with you...they should eliminate the all star games in every sport.

guys don't take it seriously and they have no reason to..why would lebron or anyone else participate in a dunk contest mid-season? thats just foolish..

its all about the postseason and getting there..all this other nonsense should be cut..or done at the end of the reason when the risk of minor injury doesn't have a significant impact on a postseason run.

Apart from derozans one slightly creative dunk, talk about a snoozefest. Ive been to a few lakers games and have witnessed shannon brown fly through the air and throw down some amazing dunks ... I had huge expectations from him and they were no where close to being met

totally bakwas dunk contest...they need to make these all-star games a little more competitive and meaningful. The MLB tried to make the game more meaningful, but seriously, do the Nationals or Orioles of the world care if the AL or NL get home field advantage?

I like Lebron a lot as a player, but he should of been a man of his words and competed in the Dunk Contest this year like he said he would last year!
