My favorite routine of the year. Y'all absolutely wrecked it this year and I am so happy for you all. All your placings are well deserved and long over due! Props to Reeda for just being the most amazing person ;D

Watched the Elite 8 performance and damn that was clean! Loved how crisp every movement was and how clean you were, without sacrificing individual nakhra and fluidity. Formations/stage movement were nice, but nothing really grabbed my attention. But it looks like you guys hit every single formation, which is pretty rare these days. Energy was through the roof, best legs on the circuit for sure. But I think what I loved the most was your nakhra. Didn't see a face drop even once and there were multiple times where I actually started smiling along with you guys just because someone came to the front and looked so damn happy. Have to give a shoutout to Alexis here, because her nakhra was fire.

The only thing I would say is I felt like you sacrificed choreo to maintain that level of cleanliness. And there's nothing wrong with that and obviously it worked to your advantage, but I think there was some more hard hitting choreo in previous SMD sets. If you can bring back some of that and stay clean, I don't think many teams out there stand a chance against y'all.

Shoutout to Reeds for being awesome and looking dope on stage, and shoutouts to a couple CMU alum Divya and Poorvi for killing it as usual! Congrats on a ridiculous year, can't wait for what's next!

Everytime I watch the Burgh videos from this year, I get so frustrated at the guy sitting in the front row who isn't even watching half the time! Like I'd kill to have that seat. Anyways, congrats SMD on a great season!

The charisma is unreal. I loved every segment because it was well executed bhangra -- no unnecessary stops and breaks. Sangeen on the mix you already know.

Best all girls team on the circuit, probably neck and neck with TAG. The dancing talent and level of execution from dancers 1-12 is so consistent its crazy, im not suprised on all the placings. The flow of your guys's sets its just amazing. Every song/segment has a purpose. Congrats on the success this season and all the well deserved placings.

Nice to see these videos finally out!!!
First of all I wanted to say congrats to Reeda and the rest of your team, you have definitely brought up an amazing team and they have put on an amazing set. I do have a few comments about the set, take them for what they are worth.

-I really liked the overall energy and cleanliness of the set, you guys danced as a team and everything hit which is what sold your set really well. You guys had consistency throughout all 7-8 minutes of the routine which kept everything really engaging.
-The chaffa segment was insanely powerful
-The intro and endings are really strong, the saap and ending choreo with formations hit really hard for me personally, they added a lot to the set
-Every single dancer had amazing nakhre, you couldn't tell that people were tired for the most part, you girls all got your legs up high and danced big.
-Jhummar was super clean and executed nicely, and the gimmicks you guys added were great cause they didn't take away from the set

-I personally felt that the segment after jugni when you had the circle and then did mahiya in the back was boring. It had a really good build up with the mix and choreo but then there was not really a hit. It was kind of anti climatic for me
-There were a lot of simple choreo moments, there were times where you probably could have added more variations to the moves.
-The biggest thing for me was that it was same set from november till february and although that is not necessarily a bad thing, but after seeing it live once, i would have loved to see changes/additions, a new non distracting gimmick, an increase in energy still, things of that nature. When I saw you guys at burgh i was going nuts. I still loved the set throughout the year but you definitely could have added more.

Im looking forward to bigger better things from SMD at their next performance because this year was killer for you girls. Good luck with it all

Really enjoyed watching the set-SMD has changed so much over the past couple of years and is finally getting the respect they deserve with these placings. You guys set the bar for clean, synchronized execution of a set.
Most of my comments pertain to the Elite 8 set- simply bc its the most recent.

-Love the intro, definitely grabs attention
-Really love how the first saap song was set up, had a great start, energetic buildup with a creative drop
-The second saap song I couldn't see as strong of a purpose behind-I think with its slower pace it could have had choreo that contrasted the first saap song better (maybe a jugni chaal?)
- love the stagger prop pick-up.
- I like the beginning build-up for khunde and everything into the build-up lead me to expect a power move which didn't come (not sure if that was intentional)
-I think phumaniya formations could have been a bit more complex-but this was one of my favorite segments of the entire set-every single dancer murdered that chaffa and it hit hard in my opinion-I feel like if more segments hit like this it could make the set even better
-Jhoomer was straight fire-reeda, you absolutely killed it! On a side note, I thought it was interesting that there was almost no jodi interaction throughout the segment (not sure if that was a way to stand out in jhoomer or what)
-Like the jugni build-up, so different than the typical-fast dhamaal into jugni or slow 16 count build-up into jugni
-The beginning of the ending I thought was well done

This set was clean and executed so so well by some really great dancers. One thing I noticed throughout the set is that a lot of dancers would bend-over (to almost make intimate eye-contact with the audience) as a form of naachre. It looked good some times but other times I think it was done a bit too much.
I also feel with such a high talent level you guys can take even more risks. Congrats on the placings, I really enjoyed watching all the sets.Hopefully these comments help
Shout out to Rachneet and Ruchika, two Husky Bhangra alumns for killing it out there on stage!!

After watching your Warrior 2014 performance, I knew that SMD was going to have a stellar 2014-2015 season. After seeing y'all at Fever, I was very happy to see the amount of improvement over the past year. You have all worked your way up to become not only the best all female bhangra team in the U.S, but a consistent threat to any competition you are a part of. Congrats to a wonderful 2015 season and especially to Reeda for doing such a wonderful job with the team this year.

Given the circumstances, I had the pleasure to watch several elite teams perform at a relatively young age including SGPD, THE Bhangra team, etc. I have not enjoyed watching a team in person to that extent until I saw you guys perform at Mela. These videos do not do the performance justice. Great job.

I do have one criticism, however. I would have liked to seen choreo get more intricate/harder for at least a segment or two of the dance. Most of it was very basic which played into the cleanliness and allowed there to be focus on nakhra and form (which I love) but I think a harder hitting ending or chikka segment would've been nice.
