I can say so much about this. Great execution. Such great energy and nakhra, each and every girl was kept the audience intrigued. The dancing never stopped and good balance of gimmicks. The Dhamaal segment was so much fun! Definitely reminded the audience that SMD is not just a bhangra team, but an amazing all-girls bhangra team who held their own at Elite 8. With all the hard work & stress these girls put themselves through, they deserved to be on that stage. Not once did they over-estimate themselves and were so humble throughout the whole experience. So happy!!

Awesome performance!
What song is the beat from, at 5:03?

It's the beat from Ice Cream Paint Job, a team favorite and mixed by GSingh

Dorrough "Ice Cream Paint Job"

Thank you!

I haven't commented on any Elite 8 videos, but just wanted to say that is by far my favorite SMD performance.

Great job to captain Bhangra da - Dheerja and the entire SMD crew. Loved the performance overall. I hope to see you gals continue to raise the bar.

Thanks for the support everyone! Any constructive feedback is much appreciated, we're looking to improve for our upcoming competitions!

Since he doesn't post on here himself, I need to call out Avinash Vernekar for taking on the daunting task of being SMD's coach this year. We had literally six weeks to prepare for Elite 8 and he lead us from beginning to end, never doubting in our abilities to pull this off. It's an honor to have him as part of the SMD family

PHUMMANIYA

[smehta]

Jhoomer was folk and some of the best dancing i've seen you girls do, ice cream paint job = one of my favorite beats, phumania had swag, and I think this is your best executed set yet. The form and grace was all there, great job girls.

[ahmad]

without a doubt my FAVORITE SMD set of ALL TIME

if this was at any other competition hands down first place.

You girls killed it with the energy, creativity, cleanliness and mainly your SMD attitude on stage. Loved it when I watched it live and loved it now Congrats!
