maybe socal, maybe csun
I heard, CSUN is going fusion :-\

SoCal, it got canceled last yr., due to not selling enough tickets

- SoCal needs new bhangra competitions. 8)

- just look at NorCal, they be having bhangra competitions, like every other month. (Nachda Punjab, Dhol Di Awaaz, Pioneer Bhangra, *NorCal Bhangra, *Warrior Bhangra, **Giant Bhangra, **Bulldog Bhangra) :)

- SoCal are only left with (Bruin Bhangra N' SoCal Bhangra + CSUN Bhangra <<<< only if they happen!) :-\

If not, Bruin Bhangra is all they got!!! :(

p.s. "STEP UP SO*CAL" ;D

*Central Valley

**Central Cali.

The issue is the lack of response from audiences in SoCal. Aside from actual teams, there isn't enough interest here anymore. Venues that used to fill 3300, now fill less than half that amount. As for NorCal, there are plenty of Punjabis and other desis who are still very much interested. Hopefully the next few years will regenerate the hype there once was in the area.

I don't think there will be very many competitions in SoCal this year, aside from Bruin. We've been looking out for CSUN and SoCal as well, but it doesn't look good. We're in the end of January and have heard nothing from any of these competitions. If they were going to happen in the next few months, we would have heard news by now.

In any case, you can all look forward to BRUIN !!! =)

My thoughts exactly, although there are many teams/ desi people in SoCal, there isn't much of an audience...

As for Bruin, I'm lookin' forward to it this year !
