Sony Acid 7.0 Pan Setting

can someone help me with the pan thing for acid where yuh edit da track so yuh hear the song in one ear and then the other side
i noe in mixcraft you can put some pan point things i was wondering if its like da same thing for acid? ???

on the left side where the volume and like effect setting buttons all are you'll see it says center on all of them, if you hover your mouse over the slide bar to the right of that it says pan slider

les say i want dat one track to play on the left side at a certain time and then the right side
how do i do datt
rii now wah i gotta do is have 3 of the same tracks and make on of them to the left the second to the right and the third in the middle
isnt der a easier way?

not that i know of to be honest, better off pm'ing abhigames or swi for that bro they know more about acid than i do

you don't need a separate track, but you do need separate instance of each track.

That is, duplicate the track 3 times. Right click the first, go to event clip, select channels->right, then left. Leave last one normal. Now just cut the parts you want and put it into one track. Now you have 3 instances of the song so changing one clip won't change them all.

there is an effect that does it. If you want real-time rendering (going back and forth) then you either use the effect, which is a pain....or use a dj program to record you panning back and forth

Set an envelope to where you want it to pan and use the pan setting instead of volume. You can get too specific but its the automatically generated pan feature.

+1 great great point completely forgot there was a pan envelope haha. Also remember you can do FX automation with envelopes too. So if you want to flanger while you pan it's simple
