it's really easy

click 't' or insert 'tempo/pitch marker'

after that it really should be obvious....put the markers where you want the speed to change
OR
set 2 markers, one at the beginning of your section and one at end and right click the marker you'll see options pop up like 'fast, slow, smooth' these correspond to how quickly the tempo will change

SWI what are you levels on the master?
Or where do you keep your marker? I never get the perfect sound, either its too low or too high which clips, never the perfect. If i have 4 layers, if i increase the vol on all it clips or something like that, you know what i am saying?

hmm, I've never had issues like that. Couple of suggestions:
-make sure your beatmapped mode is 'Pro' not 'Efficient'
-try adding extra markers in between to add control over the tempo
-render just that part (highlight it and then click render and click 'loop regino only') it may be that acid can't keep up but when it actually renders it will sound fine

I generally try to keep the master output between 0-4 dB, but I rarely touch master slider, I usually do all my EQ with the individiual layers as I go along. Some of it may just be that the clips you are using are not EQd so it's messing stuff up (that one 'eh ha' clip that everyone uses is ridiculous for instance). In that case you are going to have to actually mess with the track FX and lower bass/raise high, etc.

It's a pain man, haha

Agreed the Eh-HA clip is so f'in hard to incorporate in mixes b/c its so loud and distorted...can you post any advice on how to maybe EQ that clip into a usable sound effect?? I don't know eq's too well so maybe you can direct me to an eq video and then explain it so i don't waste your time...thanks

I usually turn down the volume on the loud Eh Ha and mix it with this clip so you get a hype, but less ingratiating, effect
