Sony Acid Help!?

Hey guys ive been using acid for a year now and idk why but couple days back when i was trying to listen to the whole thing, acid lagged for 20 seconds and then started playing. This doesnt happen with any other projects on acid just this specific one?
anybody got a clue whats wrong with it? ???

maybe you got too many files in that project?

if not, then i dunno.

Did you add a song/clip from removable media (USB drive) or Temporary Internet Files folder? I'm no Acid pro (ooh a pun) but it may be trying to find one of the resources, and failing. Review the source files.

well i ran couple of tests by first muting fourth of the songs then half of the songs and whenever i muted half of them acid would work perfectly
i think kala j is rite about too many files
are 84 files too many for 5 1/2 minutes?
