Sony Acid remix help

Hi, i was just wondering, what does it mean to EQ a mix and how do you do it! i currently make mixes in sony acid 7. thank you!

Think of EQ like sculpting. You have a slab of stone, and you kind of make something out of it (the mix), but you have to go in now and work the details. Fine tune and polish it so the features are distinct and clear. Same concept with EQ. You are 'sculpting' your mix to be better sounding. Sometimes that means to highlight certain frequencies, or reduce muddiness etc.

In laymen terms, when you draw a file, right click on it and you see the 'Track EQ' property. Mess around with it and see what the output is.
